The other week I was able to take my sister's group pictures for Sadie Hawkins. I was actually pretty nervous about it, since it had been raining like crazy all day and I would be dealing with 8 crazy teenagers...
But it was actually kind of fun and the pics turned out even better than I thought they would! Here are a few of my favorites:
Ahh, the hair flip. Always a good idea.
A few important things I learned:
- props. have a lot of different options, and they'll decide on their own what to do with them--and it usually turns out great.
- have a variety of different poses in store, cause it can get awkward when no one knows what to do.
- large groups are a little harder, and a few different layering techniques would be nice to have on hand.
- relax, have fun with it, and you'll get some great candid shots.
- also, rain can be good.
